Steve Smith fined 40 percent. Australian skipper Steve Smith fined 40% of his match fee. The other players of Australian side were involved in the 3rd ODI against England. The other Australian players had to pay off thereof 20% match fee. Australian side overrates offense in 3rd ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney on 21-01-2018. In 3rd ODI Australian side lose the match by 16 runs and they lost the series as well.

ICC gives a statement,  Australia was said to be two overs short of their target after time allocation was taken into the review. As per ICC’s code of manipulation, players are fined 10 percent of their match fee for every over they are shortened after the allowed time, and the skipper is owing double that extent.
